Education
Equal access to education is an essential prerequisite for greater participation and fairness. We strongly believe that education is a basic civil right that should be enjoyed by everyone. All children, adolescents and young adults living in Germany should have the opportunity to obtain education. We are therefore committed to ensuring that everyone is given access to education that allows individual and autonomous learning in groups and enables students to make full use of their potential.
In this context, our aim is to meet the targets we have set ourselves in our interdisciplinary clusters: to improve arts education to ensure our society is ready to face the future; to shape Germany’s immigration society by promoting integration; and to prevent dangerous climate change. At the same time, we concentrate our efforts in the area of education on three fields of activity:
- teaching and learning as the core of the educational process,
- the culture of organization and communication in educational institutions, and
- leadership and management in schools and other educational institutions.
